To install the TRAN LED VERS 02 using the concealed clip, follow these steps:
1. Using #4 x 5/8" flat head screws, mount the concealed clip. Place the first and last clip 4" inward from each end of the VERS fixture.
2. Snap the VERS fixture onto the concealed clips to mount it securely.
To install the TRAN LED VERS 02 using the magnet mount accessory, follow these steps:
1. Using #6 flat head screws, mount two screws into the 12" magnet bracket through the slotted holes at each end.
2. Unscrew the CLS VERS endcap using the supplied allen key and slide in the magnet clips.
3. Use the supplied set screws to fasten the CLS endcap that was removed and secure the magnet clips in your desired location.
4. Drop the assembled VERS fixture into the mounted magnet bracket, ensuring that the bracket sits within the extrusion.
Note: The magnet clips should be offset to the flat heads used to secure the bracket to maximize the magnetic connection.
For the magnet installation, it is important to have a recessed cutout of 0.925" to accommodate the magnet bracket. The bracket should be centered in the millwork. The height of the millwork for the recessed VERS should be based on the product-specific dimensions found on the cutsheet.
If seismic precautions are required for the magnet installation, monofilament may be used with the magnet clip.
Please note that any field modifications must comply with Q-Tran's installation methods; otherwise, the warranty will be null and void.
