To install the be quiet Pure Rock LP CPU Cooler on your Intel processor, follow these steps:
1. Assembly of the mounting brackets: Insert the hexagonal nut with a sleeve from above through each Intel mounting bracket and xxxx together from below with the hexagonal nuts using the provided hexagonal wrench.
2. Removal of protective covering: Remove the protective covering from the underneath of the cooler before installation against the CPU. Be cautious with the pre-applied thermal paste and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and ingestion.
3. Installation of the mounting brackets: Attach the 2 Intel mounting brackets to the underside of the CPU cooler using the provided M3x3 screws.
4. Mounting the CPU cooler: Place the cooler unit onto the CPU and then xxxx it alternatively tight from the backside of the motherboard. It is recommended to place the cooler with the motherboard on the table for easier access to the backside. Connect the fan to the PWM signal of the motherboard.
To install the be quiet Pure Rock LP CPU Cooler on your AMD processor, follow these steps:
1. Removal of AMD retention module: Remove both plastic retainers of the AMD retention module to permit mounting of the cooler. The factory-fitted backplate affixed to the rear side of the motherboard will be needed for the subsequent installation.
2. Removal of protective covering: Remove the protective covering from the underneath of the cooler before installation against the CPU. Be cautious with the pre-applied thermal paste and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and ingestion.
3. Installation of the mounting brackets: Attach the 2 AMD mounting brackets to the underside of the CPU cooler using the provided M3x3 screws.
4. Mounting the backplate: Place the cooler unit onto the CPU and xxxx it from the rear side of the motherboard through the backplate alternately tight. It is recommended to place the cooler with the motherboard on the table for easier access to the rear side. Connect the fan to the PWM signal of the motherboard.
