To calibrate the Apera PH60 Series Premium pH Tester, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the probe in distilled water and shake the meter to remove excess water.
2. Pour a certain amount of pH 7.00 buffer solution into the calibration bottle.
3. Long press the power button to enter calibration mode.
4. Dip the probe into the pH 7.00 buffer solution and stir gently. Allow it to stand still until a stable reading is reached.
5. Short press the power button to complete the 1-point calibration. The tester will return to measurement mode.
6. Rinse the probe in distilled water and dry it with tissue paper.
7. Dip the probe into pH 4.00 buffer solution and follow the same steps to complete the 2-point calibration. Icons will appear on the bottom left of the LCD screen.
8. If necessary, dip the probe into pH 10.01 buffer solution (sold separately) and follow the same steps to complete the 3-point calibration. An indication icon will appear on the bottom left of the LCD screen.
Note: The tester can perform 1 to 3 points automatic calibration. The pH 7.00 buffer solution must be used for the 1st point calibration. The pH 4.00 buffer solution is included in the test kit, but the pH 10.01 buffer solution is not. You can purchase it separately if needed.
