To install the Altronix T3M77LXK1 Mercury Wired Kit, follow these steps:
1. Remove the backplane from the enclosure, but do not discard the hardware.
2. Mark and predrill holes in the wall to align with the top three keyholes in the enclosure. Install three upper fasteners and screws in the wall, with the xxxx heads protruding. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the three upper screws, level it, and secure it. Mark the position of the lower three holes. Remove the enclosure, drill the lower holes, and install the three lower fasteners. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the three upper screws and install the three lower screws. Make sure to tighten all screws.
3. Mount the included UL Listed tamper switches (Altronix Model TS112 or equivalent) in the desired location, opposite the hinge. Slide the tamper switch bracket onto the edge of the enclosure, approximately 2" from the right side. Connect the tamper switch wiring to the Access Control Panel input or the appropriate UL Listed reporting device. To activate the alarm signal, open the door of the enclosure.
4. Mount the Mercury boards to the backplane, following the instructions on pages 3 and 4 of the manual.
5. Refer to the ULXB Power Supply/Charger Installation Guide for AL1024ULXB2 and the corresponding Sub-Assembly Installation Guides for PDS8(CB) and ACMS8(CB) for further installation instructions.
6. Position the Lenel/Mercury access controller module over the corresponding spacers and depress it onto the snap-on spacers (refer to figures 2-4 on pages 3-5 of the manual).
7. Mount the backplane to the enclosure using the provided hardware.
Please note that these are general installation instructions. For more detailed information and specific instructions, refer to the Altronix T3M77LXK1 Mercury Wired Kits Installation Guide provided with the product.
