1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly and ensure that you have all the necessary tools and materials.
2. Determine the location for the stove in your sauna. Ensure that there is enough space and that the stove is placed at a safe distance from any combustible materials, such as walls or benches.
3. If you are installing the stove on a concrete floor, no additional safety measures are required. However, if you have a tile floor or a floor made of inflammable material, you will need to protect it with the Harvia protective bedding or a similar heat radiation protection.
4. If you are connecting the stove to a masonry flue, you will need to make an opening in the fireproof wall for the flue connection. The size of the opening should be slightly larger than the flue connecting pipe, and a suitable gap of around 10mm should be left around the connection pipe. Seal the flue connection pipe to the opening using fireproof mineral wool.
5. If you are connecting the stove to a Harvia steel chimney, follow the detailed instructions provided in the steel chimney's installation manual. Make sure the smoke pipe fits tightly in place and consider using a radiation cover if necessary.
6. Adjust the stove's adjustable legs to ensure it is installed firmly on the floor. The adjustable range is 0-30mm. Unscrew the adjustable feet to an extent that allows them to be adjusted using a wrench (17mm) when the stove is in position.
7. Once the stove is in place, you can change the opening direction of the stove door if needed. Refer to the manual for instructions on how to do this.
8. After the installation is complete, make sure to perform the first heating outdoors to allow the protective paint to vaporize. Remove any leftover paint mechanically with a wire brush and a vacuum cleaner.
9. Before using the stove, ensure that the sauna stones are placed correctly in the stove and that they are clean.
10. Follow the instructions for use provided in the manual to properly heat the stove and maintain it.
Note: It is important to consult local regulations and fire safety requirements when installing the stove. If you have any doubts or concerns, it is recommended to seek professional assistance or consult the manufacturer for further guidance.
