To install the easee Equalizer Amp, please follow these steps:
1. Mount the equalizer amp on the DIN rail in the fuse box. If that is not possible, xxxx the DIN bracket to a secure surface and then mount the equalizer amp.
2. Reattach the current sensor(s) on each ladder, either in front of or behind the main fuse. The arrow on the sensor must point in the direction of the load.
3. Plug in the current sensors L1, L2, and L3 into their respective terminals 1, 2, and 3. Terminals 4, 5, and 6 serve as additional slots.
4. Plug in the included power cord to a suitable power source. It is recommended to install a separate fuse with a maximum rating of 16 A.
5. Connect the RJ12 cable of the equalizer box with an RJ12 connector on the Equalizer Amp. The bottom RJ12 connector is for connecting to multiple Equalizer Amps if needed.
6. Before switching on the equalizer amp, make sure that the direction of the current sensors is correct, the charging points and the equalizer amp have the same phase sequence, and the L1 current sensor is plugged into terminal 1, the L2 sensor into terminal 2, and the L3 sensor into terminal 3 of the Equalizer Amp.
7. Turn on the Equalizer Amp. You should see a blinking LED indicating normal operation.
