1. Start by identifying all the components included in the kit. The kit should include the HornBlasters Air Compressor, 2-Gallon Air Tank, Rocker Horns, 17’ 1/2” Airline, 10’ 5/16” Airline, Air Filter Relocation Kit, 3/8" Electric Solenoid Valve, Ear Plugs, Airline Cutter, and HornBlasters Universal Wiring Kit.
2. Familiarize yourself with the fittings and their sizes. The diameter of the thread on each fitting will indicate its size (1/2", 3/8", or 1/4"). You can measure the thread on each fitting to determine its size.
3. Read and understand the important safety instructions provided in the manual. These instructions include precautions to prevent electric shock, injury, and damage to the system.
4. Choose a suitable location for installing the air source kit. The trunk of a car or SUV is a recommended spot as it keeps the compressor out of the weather. The engine bay can also be used if there is enough space and it is away from heat sources. If mounting outside the vehicle, ensure it won't get submerged in water.
5. Determine the best location for installing the horns. They should be mounted facing down towards the ground or towards the front of the vehicle for optimal sound. Mounting them behind the front bumper or in the front grille is common.

10. Wire the compressor by connecting the red wire to a key-power source and the blue wire to the pressure switch. Use the supplied wiring kit and follow the instructions for either a steering wheel or push-button switch setup.
11. Follow the recommended maintenance intervals provided in the manual. This includes draining the air tank of moisture every 2 weeks, checking the air filter element and airlines every month, inspecting the system for leaks and corrosion every 2-3 months, and checking ground connections and mounting hardware annually.
