To install the SILENTAIRE 559051000 12 Inch Plasma Universal Ceiling Mount, follow these steps:
1. Select a suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture.
2. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture.
3. Remove the existing fixture and make note of how it is wired or mark the wires with masking tape and a pencil.
4. Unscrew the screws to take out the cover plate of the new fixture.
5. Pass the power input line through the middle hole of the fixture.
6. Connect the black wire from the fixture body to the black wire from the junction box.
7. Connect the white wire from the fixture body to the white wire from the junction box.
8. Cover the ground wire with wire nuts.
9. If you are connecting with a light fixture, connect the red wire from the fixture body to the black wire from the other light fixture. Connect the white wire from the fixture body to the white wire from the other light fixture. Connect the ground wire from the fixture body to the ground wire from the junction box.
10. Tighten the screws to fix the cover plate on the fixture.
11. If you are connecting with a light fixture, tighten the screws to fix the other light fixture on the fixture. Tighten the cover on the light fixture.
12. Restore power to the electrical box and turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
