According to the user manual, you should run a capsule clean cycle on the NINJA CFN600 Series Espresso and Coffee Machine if the typical capsules you brew are taking significantly longer time to brew. Additionally, if the clock display is showing "Add Wtr" even after ensuring the water tank is filled and fully seated, you can try running a water-only brew with the lever closed. If the issue persists, it is recommended to run a capsule clean cycle.
To run a capsule clean cycle, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the lever is closed and no capsule is inserted. Remove the Adjustable Cup Tray from the brewer.
2. Place the Capsule Clean Cycle Platform on the front right base of the unit, below the capsules spout.
3. Remove the lid from the carafe and place the carafe on the Capsule Clean Cycle Platform.
4. Fill the reservoir to the Full line with descaling solution* and water or white vinegar** and water.
5. Once the water reservoir is filled, press the Capsule Button and then press the Clean button.
6. Press START BREW. A 2-hour countdown will begin on the clock display.
7. Upon completion, the brewer will beep and display "End". Clean the reservoir and carafe. Flush the system by running three water-only Lungo brews.
It is important to note that the capsule clean cycle takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
*Descaling solution is available from ninjakitchen.com. Follow your solution's recommended concentration level.
**Fill the water reservoir to the Travel Mug line (16 oz.) with white vinegar, then add water to the Full line.
