To change the security mode of your Arlo Home Security System using the Keypad Sensor Hub, follow these steps:
1. Familiarize yourself with the different security modes:
- Armed Away: Use this mode when no one is inside the home. Open access and indoor motion detection will trigger the alarm.
- Armed Home: Use this mode when someone is home. Open access will trigger the alarm, but motion detection inside the home will not.
- Standby: Use this mode when you don't want to trigger the alarm. You can still receive notifications when an event is detected.
2. Locate the Keypad Sensor Hub and identify the mode buttons on it.
3. Press the desired mode button on the Keypad Sensor Hub.
4. If a PIN is required for that mode, enter the PIN using the keypad on the Keypad Sensor Hub.
5. Press the Check button on the Keypad Sensor Hub to confirm the mode change.
Note: By default, PIN entry is not required when changing from a lower security mode to a higher security mode. For example, if you are in Standby mode and want to change to Armed Home mode, you won't need to enter a PIN. However, if you want to change to Armed Away mode from any other mode, a PIN will be required.
Remember to set up your PIN during the initial setup of your Arlo Home Security System.
