To replace the lamp in the GE Lighting LED-10-3 Long Life LED Bulb, follow these steps:
1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling the cord.
2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
3. Replace the lamp with only a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp provided with the product.
If the new lamp base does not fit in the lampholder, follow these additional steps:
a) Remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the lamp leads and gently pulling the lamp out.
b) Thread the leads of the new lamp through the holes in the old base, with one lead in each hole.
c) After the lamp is fully inserted into the base, bend each lead up, like the other lamps in the light set, so that the leads will touch the contacts inside the lampholder.
Please note that it is important to replace the lamps only with 3.3 volt, 0.066 watt spare lamps provided with the product. This is to prevent the risk of fire. The product does not contain lamp shunts, which allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Therefore, do not replace lamps with any other than the spare lamps provided with the product.
