To replace a blown fuse in the GE Holiday 60216 GE String-A-Long Incandescent Miniature Lights, follow these steps:
1. Before changing fuses, make sure the light set is unplugged.
2. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
3. Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
4. Remove the blown fuse carefully.
5. Replace the blown fuse with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with the product). This is important to ensure proper safety and functionality.
6. Close the fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the current tap. Make sure the door is fully closed and the fuses are completely covered.
7. If the replacement fuse blows again, there may be a short-circuit present, and the product should be discarded.
It's important to follow these instructions carefully to ensure the safe operation of the lights. If you have any further questions or need assistance, you can contact customer service at 1-877-398-7337 or visit the GE Holiday Lighting website at www.geholidaylighting.com.
