To replace a blown fuse in the GE Lighting 89012 StayBright LED Woodland Angel Tree, follow these steps:
1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not pull on the cord to unplug it.
2. Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
3. Carefully remove the blown fuse.
4. Replace the fuse only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse that is provided with the product. This is important to prevent the risk of fire.
5. Close the fuse cover by sliding it closed on top of the attachment plug.
6. Do not replace the attachment plug as it contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. If the attachment plug is damaged, discard the product.
