To replace a burned-out LED lamp in the GE Lighting 22038 LED 800 5.5MM LIGHTS, follow these steps:
1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling the cord.
2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
3. Replace the lamp with only a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp provided with the product.
If the new lamp base does not fit in the lampholder, follow these additional steps:
1. Remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the lamp leads and gently pulling the lamp out.
2. Thread the leads of the new lamp through the holes in the old base, with one lead in each hole.
3. After the lamp is fully inserted into the base, bend each lead up, like the other lamps in the light set, so that the leads will touch the contacts inside the lampholder.
It is important to note that you should only replace the lamps with the spare lamps provided with the product. Using other lamps may pose a risk of fire.
