To check the voltage of each cell in a lithium battery pack using the , you need to connect the balance connector of the battery to the balance port of the BR-4000. When a battery is connected to the balance port, the BR-4000 will display the total battery voltage, the maximum voltage difference between each cell, and the voltage of each cell.
To start cell balancing, if the battery is connected only to the balance port, you can briefly press the menu button twice. This will initiate the cell balancing process. The left side of the screen will turn green, and the cell number being prepared will be displayed in orange on the right side of the screen.
To stop cell balancing, you can press the menu button twice briefly during or after cell balancing is in operation. This will stop cell balancing and return you to the battery connection screen. It is important to stop cell balancing immediately after it is complete and remove the battery to prevent over-discharge and potential fire hazards.
