To clean the exterior surfaces of your double wall oven, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, make sure all controls are OFF and the oven is cool.
2. Use a glass cleaner, mild liquid cleaner, or nonabrasive scrubbing pad to gently clean the porcelain enamel surfaces. Be careful not to scrub the model/serial/rating plate, as it may remove the numbers.
3. For stainless steel surfaces, use a cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel. Rub in the direction of the grain to avoid damaging the surface.
4. For stainless steel and black stainless steel surfaces, avoid using soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, steel-wool pads, gritty washcloths, or abrasive paper towels. Use a cleaner designed for stainless steel and rub in the direction of the grain.
5. For metallic paint surfaces, avoid using abrasive cleaners, cleaners with bleach, rust removers, ammonia, or sodium hydroxide. These may stain the paint surface.
6. For the control panel and oven door exterior, use a glass cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Apply the glass cleaner to the cloth or sponge, not directly on the panel.
7. To clean the oven racks, use a steel-wool pad. If the racks are harder to slide, apply a light coating of vegetable oil to the rack guides.
8. Do not use oven cleaners on the oven cavity or oven door interior. Food spills should be cleaned after the oven cools using a soft brush or nylon scrubber.
9. For powered attachments, such as the +Grill Attachment or +Baking Stone Attachment, use soap, water, and a soft cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the heating element in water or place it in the dishwasher.
10. For self-cleaning ovens, follow the instructions in the owner's manual for the self-cleaning cycle.
Remember to always follow label instructions on cleaning products and avoid using abrasive materials that may damage the surfaces of your double wall oven.
