To install the Home Depot BB8804-4 4-Light Chandelier, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the power at the fuse or circuit breaker. Also, turn off the wall switch and any switches or pull chains on the existing fixture.
2. Check that all the parts listed in the package contents and hardware contents are present. If any part is missing or damaged, do not proceed with the installation.
3. Estimated assembly time for this chandelier is between 30 minutes to 1 hour. You will need the following tools: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, ladder, and safety glasses.
4. Begin by assembling the hardware lamp body (G) and the lamp head main body (L). The main body of the lamp head should pass through the main body of the hardware.
5. xxxx the fixture loop (J) onto the coupling (F). Make sure to pull the electrical cable through the individual parts as they are installed.
6. Position the threaded xxxx (C) in the mounting bracket (B) so that it protrudes a minimum of 1/4 inch beyond the raised center portion of the mounting bracket. The height of the threaded xxxx should also allow 1/2 of the exterior threads of the xxxx collar loop (I) to extend past the canopy (A) when it is mounted.
7. Secure the threaded xxxx (C) and mounting bracket (B) with the three hex nuts (D). One hex nut should be tightened against the raised portion of the mounting bracket, another against the flat portion of the mounting bracket, and the remaining hex nut against the xxxx collar loop.
8. Connect the mounting bracket (B) to the outlet box using the short machine screws (BB).
9. Thread the chain (K) through the xxxx collar ring (H) and the canopy (A). Attach one end of the chain to the xxxx collar loop (I) and the other end to the upper fixture loop (J). Weave the fixture electrical and ground wires through every other chain link and pass them through the threaded xxxx (C) into the outlet box. Lower the xxxx collar ring (H) and canopy (A) over the chain (K).
10. Follow the wire connection guide to connect the ground wire, neutral wire, and hot wire. Use wire connectors (AA) as necessary.
11. Pass the canopy (A) over the xxxx collar loop (I) and attach the xxxx collar ring (H) to secure the canopy.
12. Finally, insert a 60-watt max candelabra-base incandescent bulb or CFL/LED equivalent (not included) into each socket (E).
