The Thomson ANT1539 HD Indoor Antenna can be powered in three different ways, depending on your setup:
1. Powering the antenna using the antenna cable:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to the antenna input on your digital TV or set-top box.
- The LED on the antenna will light up, indicating that it is powered.
- Switch on your digital TV or set-top box.
2. Powering the antenna using the USB port of the digital TV/set-top box:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to your digital TV or set-top box.
- Connect the USB cable to an unused USB port on your TV or set-top box.
- The LED on the antenna will light up, indicating that it is powered.
- Ensure that your set-top box or digital TV is switched on.
3. Powering the antenna using an external power supply unit:
- Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna to the antenna input on your digital TV or set-top box.
- Connect the USB cable to the antenna and to a suitable USB power supply unit (not included) and plug the latter into a socket.
- The LED on the antenna will light up, indicating that it is powered.
- Switch on your digital TV or set-top box.
Please note that if you choose to power the antenna directly from the set-top box or digital TV, make sure that the device provides a supply voltage of 5V. Refer to the menu settings of your device for any necessary adjustments.
