To defrost the PRIMO PR109RK refrigerator, follow these steps:
1. Wait until an ice layer of about 6mm begins to form in the freezer compartment.
2. Remove all frozen food from the refrigerator.
3. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
4. Leave the refrigerator door ajar for a short period of time to allow the ice to melt. This will speed up the defrosting process.
5. Place the water collection tray directly under the cooling zone to catch the thaw water.
6. Do not use sharp or pointed objects to remove the ice from the refrigerator or freezer compartment, as this may damage the appliance.
7. Once the defrosting process is finished, close the refrigerator door.
8. Clean the water collection tray and shelves with a mild detergent, and dry all parts thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.
9. Clean the exterior of the refrigerator with a soft damp cloth.
Note: Never operate the appliance when the refrigerator has been punctured, as this will cause the appliance to stop working and void the warranty. If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period, remove the plug from the socket and leave the door partially open to prevent the formation of mold and foul odors.
