To replace a blown fuse in the GE Lighting CFPDI-100-2F 100-150 Lights, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the lights are unplugged before proceeding.
2. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not pull on the cord to unplug.
3. Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover by sliding open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
4. Carefully remove the blown fuse from the fuse holder.
5. Replace the blown fuse with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with the product). This is important to prevent any risk of fire.
6. Close the fuse cover by sliding it closed on top of the attachment plug. Make sure the door is fully closed and the fuses are completely covered.
7. Do not replace the attachment plug if it is damaged, as it contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. In such cases, it is recommended to discard the product.
If the replacement fuse blows again, there may be a short-circuit present, and it is advised to discontinue using the product and consider replacing it. Always refer to the user manual or follow the instructions provided on the product for any specific details or variations.
