To set the datum at zero on the COMDRONIC AC6 Electronic Commissioning Meter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both isolating valves on the connection tubes are in the CLOSED position.
2. Attach the connection adaptor on the RED connection tube to the high‐pressure (upstream) test point on the subject measuring valve / device.
3. Attach the connection adaptor on the BLUE connection tube to the low‐pressure (downstream) test point on the subject measuring valve / device.
4. Ensure that the equalizing valve on the AC6 unit is OPEN.
5. Attach the free ends of the RED and BLUE connection tubes to the color‐coded connection points on the AC6.
6. OPEN the isolating valves on the connection tubes to allow the line fluid to purge any air from inside the tubes.
7. CLOSE the isolating valves on the connection tubes.
8. Find a safe and static position for the AC6 (the AC6 is very sensitive and readings will be affected if the handset is moved after a datum has been set).
9. Switch the AC6 'ON' and press ZERO to set the datum at zero. If the datum drifts from zero, allow the internal temperature of the handset to stabilize and re‐press ZERO.
Note: For comprehensive instructions and safety considerations, please refer to the full Operating Instructions provided with the COMDRONIC AC6 Electronic Commissioning Meter.
