To install the Bodine ELI-S-250 Self-Testing Sinewave Inverter, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Remove the front cover, circuit board tray, and any packing material inside the unit housing.
2. Secure the housing to the mounting surface using appropriate mounting hardware.
3. Install input, output, and optional 0-10V dimming wiring conduit fittings by removing the knockouts.
4. Extend AC supply wiring, output load wiring, and dimming control wiring into the equipment enclosure using appropriate wiring hardware and methods.
5. Connect the batteries by sliding them into the enclosure and connecting the battery cables using the supplied hardware. Ensure proper polarity.
6. Wire the emergency lighting inverter's primary power connections by looping the load wires through a ferrite core and connecting the load common lead to the "OUT COM" terminal and the load hot lead to the "OUT HOT" terminal. Loop all input wires through another ferrite core and connect the emergency lighting inverter to ground using the "FGND" terminal and the AC power source common to the "COM" terminal. Connect the un-switched hot input to the "UWSW HOT" terminal and the wall switch hot wire to the "SW HOT" terminal if applicable.
7. Wire the emergency lighting inverter's dimming connections (optional) by connecting the dimming control wires to the X3 connector.
8. Enable the inverter and apply AC power by turning on SW-1 on the circuit board after the installation is complete and the building power commissioning has been completed.
9. Install the enclosure lid by using clip-nuts to secure it to the chassis flanges and installing the test switch through the hole in the lid. Reconnect the test switch to the PCBA.
10. Perform the necessary testing and commissioning procedures as outlined in the manual to ensure proper operation.
Please refer to the instruction manual for detailed illustrations and further information on the installation process.
