To set the programmable feature on the Hamilton Beach 46294 coffee maker, follow these steps:
1. Press the H (hour) and M (minute) buttons to set the clock to the current time.
2. While holding the PROG (program) button, press the H and M buttons to set the desired brewing start time.
3. Press and release the PROG button for less than 1 second to set the coffee maker to come on automatically at the desired time. Press the PROG button again to cancel the automatic brew.
