To connect the Yorkville SA115S subwoofer to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Input Jack on the subwoofer. It is a female XLR connector.
2. Use a balanced XLR cable to connect the output of your audio source (such as a mixer or amplifier) to the Input Jack of the subwoofer.
3. If you want to connect multiple SA115S subwoofers together, you can use the Dual Link Outputs. These are male XLR connectors located on the subwoofer. Simply connect a standard XLR cable from the Link output of one subwoofer to the Input of the next subwoofer in the chain. You can daisy-chain up to 20 SA115S cabinets without signal degradation.
4. Once the connections are made, adjust the SA115S Level Control to set the volume level of the subwoofer relative to the input signal level. This control allows you to fine-tune the subwoofer's volume to match the rest of your audio system.
5. Power on the subwoofer by flipping the Power Switch to the On position. The green Power LED will illuminate to indicate that the subwoofer is receiving power.
6. Adjust the Line Current Limit Control if necessary. This control allows you to reduce the power consumption of the subwoofer to operate on limited power availability. Refer to the manual for more details on the different settings and their effects.
7. Monitor the Clip, X-Max, VC-Therm, and Activity Indicators on the subwoofer. These LED indicators provide information about the operating levels and limits of the subwoofer. Refer to the manual for a detailed explanation of each indicator.
Please note that it is important to follow all safety instructions provided in the manual and to connect the subwoofer to a properly grounded power source.
