To set up the CT901-BED relay cable for use as a bedside monitor, please follow these steps:
1. Place the bed mat in the bed and connect it to the TX901 transmitter.
2. Open the xxxx on the back of the TX901 and insert the batteries. Tighten the cap carefully.
3. Plug the CT901R control unit into a wall socket to power it on.
4. Connect the relay cable to the control unit and to the existing alarm system.
5. Code the TX901 with the control unit by entering the main menu (hold both arrow buttons for 3 seconds).
6. In the main menu, select "Transmitters" and then "Learn new." Press "Ent" to activate the new transmitter.
7. Press the bed mat when the display shows "Activate new transmitter."
8. Set the desired time limit for the person to be out of bed before the alarm is sent. This can be done under "Bed, timer" in the main menu.
9. If you want the bed alarm to light up when the person gets up, set this under "Light, always" in the main menu.
10. Your bed frame with the CT901-BED relay cable is now ready to use.
