To connect the Schneider Electric SX3800CI UPS to a wall outlet, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the UPS is intended for indoor use only.
2. Locate the UPS power cable and connect it directly to a wall outlet. Do not use surge protectors or extension cords.
3. Before connecting the UPS to the wall outlet, make sure to disconnect the equipment from the AC power outlet if grounding cannot be verified. Reconnect the power cord after all connections are made.
4. Press the ON/OFF button on the UPS to turn it on. The green "Power On" indicator will confirm that the UPS is on and ready to provide protection.
Note: It is important to allow the UPS to charge for at least 10 hours to ensure sufficient runtime. The unit will be charged whenever it is connected to AC power, regardless of whether the unit is turned on or off.
