To install the LinmoreLED LINEAR Series fixtures, follow these steps:
1. Consult a licensed electrician or electrical contractor before starting the installation.
2. Inspect the packaging for any signs of damage and notify the carrier if the packaging is damaged.
3. Unpack the fixtures and inspect them for any damage. Take photographs and contact Linmore LED if there is any damage.
4. Turn off the electricity at the main circuit breaker, panelboard, fuse box, or disconnect before installing the fixtures.
5. Ensure that the fixture is properly rated for the location where it will be installed.
6. Make sure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture.
7. Choose the appropriate installation method (suspension mount or surface mount) and follow the specific instructions provided in the manual.
8. For suspension mount, use the provided hanger kit and follow the instructions to secure the fixture to the structure.
9. For surface mount, select a suitable knockout location in the fixture housing, remove the knockout, and pull the AC power from the building through the knockout. Provide UL approved strain relief as required.
10. Make the necessary electrical connections according to the applicable codes. Connect black to black (hot), white to white (neutral), and green (or bare) to green (ground). If applicable, connect violet to violet (dim +) and grey to grey (dim -) for dimming wiring.
11. Neatly arrange the wires and ensure all connections are sealed properly inside the fixture housing.
12. Attach the LED light cover to the fixture housing using self-tapping screws or quarter turn fasteners, depending on the model.
13. Turn on the electricity at the circuit breaker, panelboard, or fuse box.
