To add fabric softener to the Amana High-Efficiency Washer, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the cycle, determine the recommended amount of fabric softener by referring to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. If you are using liquid fabric softener, dilute it by filling the fabric softener dispenser in the washer to the underside of the rim with warm water.
3. If you prefer to add fabric softener during the final rinse, press the START/PAUSE button to pause the washer.
4. Lift the lid of the washer and add the measured recommended amount of liquid fabric softener.
5. Close the lid and press the START/PAUSE button again to resume the washer.
6. The fabric softener will be automatically added during the final rinse.
Please note that it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the proper amount of fabric softener to use. Additionally, make sure to dilute the liquid fabric softener if adding it to the dispenser before starting the cycle.
