To reset your TP-Link PGW2440 KIT adapter and extender to factory default settings, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Pair button on the adapter or extender.
2. Press and hold the Pair button for at least 6 seconds.
3. Release the button and wait for all LEDs to turn off.
4. Once the LEDs turn back on, the reset process is complete, and the devices have been restored to their factory default settings.
If pressing the Pair button does not reset the devices, make sure you are pressing and holding the button for the required duration. If the problem persists, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that the devices are plugged into a working wall socket and are on the same electrical circuit.
2. Attempt to set up a powerline network by pairing the devices again. Refer to the Quick Installation Guide for detailed instructions on how to pair the devices.
3. If the problem still persists, it is recommended to contact TP-Link Technical Support for further assistance.
Please note that resetting the devices will erase any custom settings or configurations you have made. It is advisable to backup any important settings before performing a factory reset.
