The Power™ Burner feature on the MAYTAG W11508918A Freestanding Gas Range is designed to provide ultrapower when fully on. It can be used to rapidly bring liquid to a boil and to cook large quantities of food. To use the Power™ Burner feature, follow these steps:
1. Push in and turn the control xxxx counterclockwise to the "LITE" position.
2. All surface burners will click, but only the burner with the control xxxx turned to "LITE" will produce a flame.
3. Turn the control xxxx to anywhere between "HIGH" and "LOW" to adjust the flame intensity.
Remember to exercise caution when using the Power™ Burner feature, as the flame can be very powerful. Always ensure that the burner flame does not extend beyond the edge of the pan to prevent a fire hazard.
