Installation of the welldana Inground Pool Cover Reel (CR1-17) is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Start by assembling the reel system. Lay out all the components and identify the reel tubes, end stands, and attachment brackets.
2. Attach the end stands to the reel tubes using the provided screws and bolts. Make sure the stands are securely fastened.
3. Determine the desired location for the reel system at the edge of your pool. Ensure that the area is clear of any obstacles or obstructions.
4. Place the assembled reel system at the chosen location, aligning the end stands parallel to the pool's edge.
5. Mark the position of the attachment brackets on the pool deck or surrounding surface. These brackets will secure the reel system in place.
6. Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the provided anchors. Make sure the anchors are firmly in place.
7. Attach the brackets to the anchors using the provided screws. Ensure that the brackets are securely fastened.
8. Slide the reel tubes into the attachment brackets, making sure they are properly aligned and centered.
9. Adjust the tension of the reel tubes by tightening or loosening the provided tension knobs. This will ensure that the cover rolls up smoothly.
