To install the SLOAN 8936-CP Truflush Electronic Dual Flush Wall Plate, follow these steps:
1. Prior to installation, ensure that you have a minimum of six inches (152 mm) wall space depth and a wall plate opening of 5.6" x 5.6" (142 x 142 mm).
2. Remove the mudguard by unscrewing the two screws and discard it.
3. Mount the Wall Bracket to the valve and secure it using the supplied #8-32 x 2 screws.
4. Open the battery package and insert the four supplied batteries into the battery package. Close the lid by tightening the xxxx .
5. Insert the battery package on the right side of the valve.
6. Connect the battery box black connector to the black connector on the PCB assembly. Connect the solenoid grey connector to the grey connector on the PCB assembly. The red LED will start blinking when power is connected to the PCB assembly.
7. If you are using hardwire connection, strip the ends of the transformer wire and insert them into the blue terminal block. Tighten the terminal screws. Connect the terminal block to the PCB assembly.
8. Align the four slots on the PCB assembly with the mounting pegs on the Wall Bracket and slide the PCB assembly all the way down.
9. Disconnect the Solenoid Connector and lift the button. Use the supplied tool to turn the activation assembly clockwise (to lessen the flow) or anticlockwise (to increase the flow).
10. Reconnect the solenoid and check the flow by flushing. Repeat step 9 to adjust the flow until the flow rate properly cleanses the fixture.
11. Make sure the retaining xxxx is fully tightened. Slide the PCB assembly all the way up and align the wall plate cutout with the PCB assembly. Push the wall plate all the way in, then slide it down.
12. Use the supplied allen key to unscrew the retaining xxxx until it touches the wall plate. Ensure the wall plate is completely fixed.
Important Notes:
- Do not unscrew the retaining xxxx any further once it touches the wall plate.
- Make sure the solenoid connector goes through the center of the adjusting tool to avoid damage to the cable.
- Make sure the flushometer solenoid connector is disconnected from the sensor assembly every time before rotating the activation assembly.
- Under no circumstances should the solenoid be removed or adjusted.
