According to the instruction manual, the air in the sauna room should change six times per hour. There are different sauna room ventilation options illustrated in the manual:
A. Supply air vent location: If you are using mechanical exhaust ventilation, place the supply air vent above the heater. If you are using gravity exhaust ventilation, place the supply air vent below or next to the heater. The diameter of the supply air pipe should be 50-100 mm. However, for heater models equipped with a separate temperature sensor, make sure not to place the supply air vent in a way that the air flow cools the temperature sensor.
B. Exhaust air vent: Place the exhaust air vent near the floor, as far away from the heater as possible. The diameter of the exhaust air pipe should be twice the diameter of the supply air pipe.
C. Optional vent for drying: This vent should be closed during heating and bathing. If you want to dry the sauna, you can leave the door open after bathing.
D. If the exhaust air vent is in the washroom: In this case, there must be a gap of at least 100 mm underneath the sauna door. Mechanical exhaust ventilation is mandatory.
