To install the Harvia SASF01 Glass Fiber Optic Lights in your sauna room, please follow these steps:
1. Handle the glass fibers carefully and avoid bending them beyond the bending radius. If the fibers have been stored or transferred in freezing temperatures, allow them to warm up to room temperature before use.
2. Determine the desired locations for the fibers in your sauna room. The kits include different lengths of fibers, so make sure to measure and mark the appropriate places for installation.
3. Drill holes in the sauna benches, walls, or ceiling using the correct size drill bits. Refer to figure 6 in the manual for guidance.
4. Thread the fiber cables through the drilled holes and seal them with silicon to ensure a secure installation. Do not cut the fibers.
5. Install the illuminator either inside or outside of the sauna room. If installing inside, make sure to follow the minimum safety distances provided in figure 3. The illuminator cannot be embedded into the wall.
6. Attach the illuminator to the wall using screws. Ensure that the fiber bundle end does not point upwards to prevent water or dust from entering the lens and affecting the light output. Tighten the fiber bundle end with a xxxx , but do not cover the illuminator.
Please note that the above instructions are a general guide. For more specific details and illustrations, refer to the Harvia SASF01 Glass Fiber Optic Lights Instruction Manual provided with the product.
