To properly pile the sauna stones in the Harvia BC105 Electric Sauna Heater, follow these steps:
1. Use sauna stones that are 4-8 cm in diameter and are solid blocks of stone specially intended for use in the heater. Do not use light, porous ceramic "stones" or soft potstones.
2. Wash off any stone dust from the stones before piling them.
3. Pile the stones into the stone compartment over the grating, between the heating elements (resistances) so that the stones support each other. Do not let the weight of the stones lie on the heating elements.
4. The stones should not be piled too tightly, allowing air to flow through the heater. They should be fitted loosely, without wedging them between the heating elements. Do not put very small stones into the heater.
5. The stones should completely cover the heating elements, but should not form a high pile on top of them.
6. Over time, the stones will disintegrate with use. Rearrange the stones at least once a year, removing any pieces of stones from the bottom of the heater and replacing disintegrated stones with new ones.
It is important to follow these instructions to ensure proper functioning of the heater and to prevent any faults or damage.
