To install the , follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the track system is installed at least 7 ft. above the floor.
2. Make sure that the lamps are installed at least 6 in. away from any curtain or combustible material.
3. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes and the National Electrical Code. If you are not familiar with electrical wiring, it is recommended to hire a qualified licensed electrician.
4. Identify the ground side of the track head (A) connector and the track section. The ground side of the track head has two metal tabs, while the ground side of the track section has an indented groove on the face and two internal copper strips.
5. Push the top portion of the track head (A) connector into the slot of the track section.
6. Pull down the connector's locking tab (B).
7. Twist the ground side of the track head (A) connector toward the ground side of the track section until the track head (A) connector snaps into place.

Note: This lighting system is designed for use with the Hampton Bay EC series line voltage track system only.
