To clean the ceramic glass cooktop on your JennAir W10848426B electric down cooktop, follow these steps:
1. Allow the cooktop to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Remove any loose debris or food particles from the cooktop surface.
3. Use a cooktop scraper or a non-abrasive plastic scrubbing pad to remove any stubborn stains or residue. Hold the scraper or pad at a 45-degree angle against the glass surface and apply pressure to remove the residue.
4. Apply a few dime-sized drops of affresh® Cooktop Cleaner to the affected areas.
5. Use a blue Cooktop Cleaning Pad to rub the affresh® Cooktop Cleaner onto the cooktop surface. Apply some pressure to remove stubborn stains.
6. Allow the cleaner to dry to a white haze.
7. Polish the cooktop surface with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel.
8. Repeat the process as necessary for stubborn or burned-on stains.
Note: Avoid using steel wool, abrasive powder cleansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover, or ammonia on the ceramic glass cooktop, as they can cause damage. Always follow the instructions provided with the cleaning products you use.
