To ignite the burners on the IKEA VASASTAN Gas Hob, follow these steps:
1. Push the control xxxx for the desired burner and turn it anticlockwise to the maximum position marked with a flame symbol.
2. Keep the control xxxx pushed for about 5 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and the safety device to switch off.
3. If the burner does not ignite after a few attempts, check if the burner cap and crown are placed correctly.
4. Once the flame is lit, you can adjust the intensity by turning the control xxxx .
Note: If there is no electricity, you can ignite the burner without an electrical device by approaching the burner with a flame, pushing the relevant xxxx , and turning it anticlockwise to the maximum gas release position.
Remember to always turn the flame down or switch it off before removing the pots or pans from the burner.
