To configure the current outputs for the desired measurements on the PM5-SA4 plug-in module, follow these steps:
1. Access the configuration menu: Press the "Menu" hotkey on your PoolManager controller.
2. Navigate to the "Communication & Interfaces" submenu.
3. Select the "Current outputs 4-20mA" submenu.
4. Choose the current output of the desired measurement. For example, if you want to configure the current output for pH measurement, select "Current output pH."
5. In the submenu for the selected measurement, you can adjust the following parameters:
- Current output: This setting depends on the measurement being configured (e.g., pH, Cl, Br, mV, O2, T1).
- Minimum value (at 4 mA): Set the minimum value for the measurement range.
- Maximum value (at 20 mA): Set the maximum value for the measurement range.
Note: The current output is identified by the plug-in connector number (usually connector 1) and the current output number on the PM5-SA4 plug-in module. The default allocation is as follows:
- Current output 1.1: pH
- Current output 1.2: Cl or Br
- Current output 1.3: mV or O2
- Current output 1.4: temperature T1
The default settings for the minimum and maximum values are as follows:
- pH: 0.00 pH to 10.00 pH
- Cl or Br: 0.00 mg/l to 10.00 mg/l
- mV: 0 mV to 1000 mV
- O2: 0 l to 10 l
- T1: 0°C to 50°C
Make sure to adjust these settings according to your desired measuring range. The minimum value corresponds to a current signal of 4 mA, and the maximum value corresponds to a current signal of 20 mA.
