To install the DIGITUS DN-95323-1 Network RJ45 switch, you can follow these steps:
1. Choose the installation method: You can either install the switch on a desktop or mount it on a wall.
2. Desktop Installation:
- Attach the cushioning rubber feet provided on the bottom of the switch at each corner to prevent external vibration.
- Make sure to leave adequate space for ventilation between the switch and surrounding objects.
3. Wall-mounted Installation:
- Fix two screws on the wall where you want to mount the switch.
- Place the switch smoothly on the screws to fix it securely to the wall.
4. Connect the power:
- Connect the AC power cord into the rear of the switch.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Make sure the voltage of the power supply matches the requirement of the switch (100V-240Vac, 50/60Hz).
5. Power on the switch:
- When you turn on the switch, the LED indicators will flash momentarily for one second, indicating a system reset.
- The Power LED indicator will turn on green once the switch is powered on.
