The BACA SYSTEMS Robo SawJet 3.0 Robotic Stone Cutting Jet Saw requires two separate power circuits and an internet connection. The Robot Controller Power requires 480 VAC, 3 phase, with a protected circuit breaker or fused disconnect for 80 amps. It is important to note that the terminal lugs are not large enough to handle aluminum, so appropriately sized copper wire must be used. If your facility has a lower voltage, you will need to provide a step-up transformer.
The Waterjet Pump Power also requires 480 VAC, 3 phase, with a protected circuit breaker or fused disconnect for 100 amps. Similarly, appropriately sized copper wire must be used, and a step-up transformer may be required if your facility has a lower voltage.
For the internet connection, a high-speed hard-wired connection is needed. The Cat 5 cable will be landed in the control panel, and access through your firewall should allow for remote administration using TeamViewer.
It is important to consult with a licensed electrician to ensure the proper installation of the electrical power and to meet all safety requirements. BACA Systems installers are not allowed to perform any electrical work in connecting from the facility to the machinery.
