To install the camera into the AOI UH-EPL10R Underwater Housing, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the camera before installing it into the housing. Remove all camera accessories such as the lanyard, hot shoe cover, lens filter, and lens cap.
2. Push down the camera's built-in flash and return the camera monitor back to its original position. Make sure the camera strap eyelets are folded down against the camera body.
3. Gently load the camera into the housing, making sure not to hold the camera by the monitor screen while inserting.
4. If using the Optical Flash Trigger for external slave strobes, connect the Hot Shoe Connector (included in the package) between the camera's hot shoe and the USB Type-C port on the Multi-control Device.
5. Before closing the housing, ensure that the camera is positioned properly against the Camera Positioning Bumpers in the front of the housing.
6. Check that the Main Seal O-ring is clean, intact, and properly positioned. Remove any obstacles such as the lanyard or strips that may prevent the secure closure of the housing.
7. Clean or replace the Main Seal O-ring if necessary.
8. Close the Housing Rear Cover by rotating the Cam Lock clockwise until you hear a "Click" sound. If you encounter resistance, clear any obstacles before continuing.
9. Switch the Security Lock on the Cam Lock to the "LOCK" position to prevent the Cam Lock from opening accidentally.
10. Once the camera is installed and the housing is closed, turn on the power of the camera and make sure all housing controls and lens gear function properly. Check that the Optical Flash Trigger is functioning with the external slave strobe(s).
