To connect your Kogan KASBD80HA soundbar to your TV, you have several options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. AUX Connection:
- Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm stereo jack cable to the AUX IN port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone or audio output port on your TV.
- Press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until "AUX" is displayed on the LED display.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
2. Bluetooth Connection:
- Press the BT button on the remote control or repeatedly press the MODE button on the soundbar control panel until "BT" is shown on the LED display.
- Put your soundbar into pairing mode by pressing and holding the BT button on the remote control or soundbar control panel until the LED display starts flashing.
- On your TV, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "Kogan 80W Dolby SB" from the list.
- Once connected, the LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and remain constant.
3. HDMI(ARC) Connection:
- Connect one end of a standard HDMI cable to the HDMI(ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI(ARC) port on your TV.
- Press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until "ARC" is displayed on the LED display.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
4. Optical Connection:
- Connect one end of a digital optical cable (not provided) to the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical output port on your TV.
- Press the MODE button on the remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until "OPT" is displayed on the LED display.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
