To properly install and mount the BD SENSORS LMK, LMP Probes for IS Areas, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the device is in a depressurized and de-energized condition before mounting.
2. Do not install the device in an area with a risk of explosion.
3. If using a free-hanging probe with FEP cable, make sure that there are no highly charging processes that could pose an explosion hazard.
4. Mount the probe properly according to your requirements. Use the appropriate mounting clamps, terminal clamps, or mounting flanges available as accessories from BD|SENSORS.
5. Slowly immerse the device into the fluid to be measured. Avoid striking the liquid surface to prevent damage to the diaphragm.
6. For flange versions (LMK 382 / LMK 382H), ensure that the mounting thread is clean and undamaged. Mount the flange according to your requirements.

8. If necessary, affix a cable protection to the probe if it was prepared for mounting by means of a stainless steel or plastic tube.
9. Ensure that all electrical connections are made according to the information specified on the manufacturing label, the provided wiring diagrams, and the connection circuit diagram.
10. Use shielded and twisted multicore cables for the electrical connection. Connect the cable shield to earth potential using appropriate grounding clamps to ensure a low-impedance connection and avoid potential differences.
11. Route the cable properly, following the recommended bending radiuses and ensuring that the PTFE filter located at the cable end on the air tube is not damaged or removed.
12. After installation, always check that all mechanical connections are fitted with protective caps.
