To connect the i3 International HE01ERK HDMI Cat5e/6 Extender, follow these steps:
1. Refer to Figure 1 in the user manual for the connection diagram.
2. Connect the HE01SET (Transmitter) to the HDMI source using the HDMI connector.
3. Connect the HE01SER (Receiver) to the HDMI monitor using the HDMI connector.
4. Use a straight CAT5e/6 cable to connect the RJ45 connectors on both the HE01SET and HE01SER devices.
5. If the HDMI source does not provide enough power to the Receiver, connect a 5V power adapter (not included) to the Micro USB connector on the HE01SET using the provided Micro USB to DC cable.
Note: It is important to use high-quality CAT5e/6 UTP cable for transmission distances over 98 ft (30 m). Avoid using STP or flat cable to prevent video loss. Keep the cabling away from electromagnetic waves, such as microwaves, radio equipment, and high voltage power lines. Do not coil the cable to avoid crosstalk interference. Also, please note that HDCP is not supported, and this product should not be connected to any Ethernet device.
