To clean the steam generator iron, follow these steps:
1. Fill the water tank with clean drinking water (approximately 0.5 liters).
2. Switch on the appliance and wait for it to heat up.
3. Hold the iron horizontally above a washbowl.
4. Press and hold the clean button (CLEAN) for approximately 3 seconds.
5. Hot water will start flowing out of the iron. Let the cleaning process continue for at least 2 minutes.
6. After completing the cleaning, iron a clean piece of cotton cloth to remove any remaining residue from the ironing plate.
7. The clean function can be switched off prematurely by pressing the ON/OFF button (A1).
Note: It is recommended to descale the steam generator iron after consuming approximately 15 liters of water, or about 10 filling volumes. Failure to clean the appliance may lead to malfunction.
