To install the scrooo software synthesizer plugin, follow these steps:
1. For Windows VST2 32-bit version:
- Copy the file "scrooo.dll" from the downloaded ZIP archive.
- Paste the file into your system's or favorite DAW's VST2 plugin folder.
- Your DAW should automatically register the scrooo VST2 plugin the next time you start it.
2. For Windows VST2 64-bit version:
- Copy the file "scrooo64.dll" from the downloaded ZIP archive.
- Paste the file into your system's or favorite DAW's VST2 plugin folder.
- Your DAW should automatically register the scrooo VST2 plugin the next time you start it.
- Note: If you have an existing 32-bit version of scrooo.dll in the VST2 folder, remove it to avoid version conflicts.
3. For Windows VST3 64-bit version:
- Copy the file "scrooo.vst3" from the downloaded ZIP archive.
- Paste the file into your system's or favorite DAW's VST3 plugin folder.
- Your DAW should automatically register the scrooo VST3 plugin the next time you start it.
4. For Mac VST2/VST3/AU 64-bit version:
- Locate the downloaded PKG package file "scrooo_2_0_0_mac.pkg" in Finder.
- Right-click or control-click on the file and select "Open" from the context menu.
- You may see a warning about the package coming from an unidentified developer. Click "OK" to proceed.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Note: Make sure to remove any existing versions of the scrooo plugin (if applicable) to avoid conflicts.
