To install the AVOVA Sperber-Fix 61 child seat in your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the vehicle seat where you will install the child seat is in an upright position if it is reclinable.
2. Fit the ISOFIX insertion guides to the vehicle's ISOFIX anchoring points, which are located between the surface and backrest of the vehicle seat. This helps prevent damage to the vehicle seat. If the vehicle seat can be folded, remove the ISOFIX insertion guides before doing so.
3. Pull the lower part of the ISOFIX release loop to pull out the ISOFIX connectors from the child seat base until they are at the most outward positions.
4. Place the child seat on the vehicle seat and aim both ISOFIX connectors to the ISOFIX anchoring points in the vehicle seat.
5. Push one ISOFIX connector to engage it with the ISOFIX anchoring point with a click sound. Repeat the action on the other side to engage both ISOFIX connectors. Check both ISOFIX indicator buttons, and if they both show green, the ISOFIX connectors are locked successfully.
6. Push the child seat firmly towards the vehicle seat backrest as far back as possible until it rests against the vehicle seat backrest. Check that the child seat is securely connected by trying to pull it out from both sides.
7. Press the support leg release button to release the support leg until it touches the vehicle floor. The support leg must be firmly engaged to the vehicle floor, not free from the vehicle floor or touching other objects. The support leg indicator should not show red.
Please refer to the AVOVA Sperber-Fix 61 user manual for detailed instructions and illustrations on the installation process.
