To install the Aquascape 84031 LED Pond and Landscape Spotlight, follow these steps:
1. Choose the mounting option that works best for your light. The spotlight comes with a removable stand and a landscape stake, while the waterfall light has a pre-installed stand.
2. For lights with a removable stand (#84031, #84033, and #84034), remove the threaded nut from the fixture holder and insert the holder into the base. Use the threaded nut to secure the fixture holder. This will allow you to adjust the angle of the light.
3. For lights with a landscape stake (#84031, #84033, and #84034), remove the threaded nut from the fixture holder and thread the stake clockwise into the bottom of the fixture holder. This will allow you to stake the light into the ground.
4. If you prefer, you can use the lights without the fixture holder to hide them between rocks.
5. Adjust the angle of the light by pushing up or down on the fixture holder until it clicks into the desired position.
6. Connect the light fixtures using the provided 2-pin, quick-connect fittings. Do not cut or remove the isolation chamber, as it will damage the light and void the warranty. Splitters and extension cables are available if you want to install multiple lights.
7. Make sure to fully tighten the quick-connect connections to prevent water from entering. You can use dielectric grease in all connections to further prevent water infiltration.
8. If desired, you can install the Aquascape Quick-Connect Photocell with Timer at this time.
9. The lights are designed to operate on a 12-volt, outdoor-rated transformer. Locate the transformer as close to the light fixtures as possible to avoid voltage drops caused by long cable runs.
10. Periodically clean the fixtures with fresh water to remove any algae, debris, or buildup.
