To convert the GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 246743 Fan Forced Wall Heater from full wattage to half wattage, follow these steps:
1. Remove the red jumper wire connecting the top and bottom element terminals. This can be done by disconnecting the wire from both terminals and discarding it.
2. If you want to permanently make the heater half-wattage, cut the male terminal spade, being careful not to damage the cold pin, and discard it.
3. Mark the wattage of the heater on the white label inside the back box for future reference.
Note: The full wattage heater can be converted to half wattage in the field or at the factory by removing the red jumper wire connecting the top and bottom element terminals.
